First-grade student Preston Degerman tries kicking a pad held by instructor Terry Kennedy on Monday during a demonstration to acquaint Oak Grove Luthern School students with basic Tae Kwon Do self-defense techniques at the school in south Fargo. The demonstration was held by Master John Bedore of the USA Spirit Christian Tae Kwon Do Academy in Moorhead.
